Hiring: Defense Technology Video Editor & Motion Designer | Contract / Freelance

Hexon Technology is looking for a creative Video Editor & Motion Designer to help build the visual identity of ATLAS, our edge-based situational awareness and sensor-fusion platform.

We need someone who can create cinematic, defense-grade technology content even when the amount of original footage available is limited.

This is not a traditional corporate video editing role.

We want someone who can take product footage, UI recordings, screenshots, capability descriptions, and raw concepts and transform them into compelling short-form content that feels at home in the defense, intelligence, autonomous systems, and national security technology space.

What you’ll create:

• 10–30 second cinematic teaser videos

• Product capability reveals

• Tactical command-center visuals

• ISR / drone / EO-IR inspired sequences

• Object detection and tracking overlays

• Sensor-fusion visualizations

• Digital maps and operational environments

• Target tracking and telemetry graphics

• Tactical HUD / UI animations

• AI-generated supporting footage where appropriate

• Cinematic typography and sound design

• Longer product and demonstration videos when needed

Our goal is to publish high-quality ATLAS content consistently, ideally daily, without requiring a completely new field shoot for every video.

A strong candidate should be able to take a limited library of ATLAS footage and creatively turn it into 20–30 unique pieces of content per month.





Ideal experience:

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• After Effects

• DaVinci Resolve

• Motion graphics / VFX

• AI video generation tools

• HUD and tactical UI animation

• Sound design

• Color grading

• Blender / 3D animation is a major plus

• Defense, aerospace, robotics, drones, autonomy, cybersecurity, or advanced technology content is a major plus

What matters most:

You know how to make advanced technology look credible, cinematic, and mission-ready.

The content should feel like a reliable defense technology company, not a gaming montage or generic SaaS advertisement.

You should also be highly creative with limited source material. If we provide one product demonstration, we expect you to identify multiple stories, capabilities, and teaser concepts that can be extracted from it.
