WSP is currently initiating a search for an Piping Engineer to support our GCC team.

Responsibilities

- Technical support to the Pre-Contract and Project Delivery teams on matters concerning the design, construction and operation of cross-country/inplant power, desalination and sewage treatment plants and associated equipment.
- Detail design of cross-country piping in power and water projects and use of the associated pipe modelling and analysis software packages.
- Preparation of basic and detail piping technical specifications, datasheets and pipe layout drawings.
- Create and Draft PFDs, BFDs, PIDs, work on equipment and piping 3D model development
- Develop detail design drawings incorporating vendor 2D and 3D drawings for gas plant projects
- Develop overall piping plans, general layouts, isometrics, plot plans, and other project specific details. Including the application Site Topographical Survey drawings and data
- Review of piping design and sizing calculations and drawings
- Review of method statement/ test procedures submitted by contractors for cross-country/inplant power,



desalination and sewage treatment plants site activities related to piping work.
- Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of CAD standards in line with WSP procedures.
- The role will require working alone and as part of a large cross disciplinary team across office locations so the successful candidate should be self-motivated and a robust communicator who works well with others.
- Support internal development and continuous improvement activities as required
- Competent with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Qualifications: BE/BTech - Mechanical (8-12 Yrs Experience)

- Waste Rock Disposal.
