Your main missions will include :

â Ensuring reliable accounting and guaranteeing compliance with Group and local accounting standards

â Lead the monthly and annual financial closing processes by executing daily and closing-specific tasks

â Record, control, and report financial transactions within your area of responsibility.

â Review of Financial statements including PL, Balance sheet of a particular country among 10+ Decathlon

countries in APAC.

â Support statutory audit of standalone financials under IFRS and local GAAP

â Partner with cross functional teams as the subject matter expert to ensure financial decisions are guided by

sound accounting principles and internal control policies

â Conducting monthly controls and analysis, as well as a comprehensive quarterly review of financial

statements with the country’s financial controller/FP&A;/CVO;

â Review of month end accruals, Intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, income statement

trend analysis.

â Implementing action plans to enhance efficiency and accounting quality within your scope.





Requirements
MANDATORY -

â With a Master’s degree (CA/ACCA/MBA in Tier-1/ CPA/CMA) in corporate accounting with 5+ years

experience.

â Past experience of working in GFS/ COE/ GCC/ Shared services workplace will be an added advantage

â You are rigorous, organized, action-oriented, and thrive on challenges, taking responsibility, and providing

excellent customer service.

â On the field, you are a team player and give priority to the team overall success.

â Ready to lead the change and build the project/systems from scratch.
