To meet our challenges we are looking for a Trainee Operator within the Manufacturing team to be based at our Gokak unit.
Purpose
The purpose of Trainee Operator is to operate and monitor starch manufacturing process equipments safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent product quality, adherence to SOPs, and optimal production output.

The role ensures desired production output is achieved as per the plan by following laid down SOP's and safety standards to ensure optimum production is done without any safety incidents and excess use of resources beyond the alloted numbers.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Operate production equipment involved in starch manufacturing such as:
- Milling, slurry preparation, separation, washing, drying, and packing systems
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, pH, moisture)
- Start-up, shutdown, and changeover of equipment as per SOPs
- Ensure correct raw material feeding and handling
- Record production data, batch details, and deviations accurately
Quality & Process Control
- Follow GMP and quality standards to meet product specifications
- Identify process abnormalities and report to shift supervisor
- Support sampling and basic quality checks as instructed
- Minimize process losses and wastage
Safety, Health & Setting (SHE)
- Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and plant safety rules
- Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and audits
- Handle chemicals and process materials safely
- Maintain housekeeping
