Job Description:

Position: Sr. Manager - Purchase

Location: Andheri - Mumbai

Experience: 8 - 15 Years

Industries: Plastics / Rubber

Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of polymers, plastic raw materials, additives, masterbatches and packaging materials.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and cost-saving plans.
- Identify, evaluate and develop domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and delivery schedules.
- Monitor commodity prices, market trends and raw material fluctuations.
- Ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, QA, finance and logistics teams.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance and commercial terms.
- Handle import procurement and international supplier coordination.
- Prepare procurement MIS, cost analysis and supplier performance reports.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of plastic and polymer raw materials.
- Excellent vendor development and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of commodity markets and pricing.
- Strong sourcing and cost-control abilities.
- Experience in domestic and international procurement.
- Valuable inventory planning and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Required Qualification:- Any Graduation + MBA - Supply Chain

Salary :- Upto 18.00 LPA
