What’s the role

The Head of Reporting & Accounting is accountable for leading the delivery of high-quality reporting, analysis and core finance processes that support internal and external financial reporting, business appraisal and decision-making. The role provides strategic leadership across expenditure, revenue and hydrocarbon-related finance activities, ensuring reporting integrity, process excellence and effective stakeholder engagement.

The role acts as a senior interface between Finance leadership, Group Reporting, Business Finance and Reporting & Accounting teams, driving integrated ways of working, strengthening finance capabilities and enabling a connected reporting and accounting community. The role is expected to continuously improve finance delivery, enhance decision support and foster a culture of financial discipline, collaboration and skilled excellence.





The ideal candidate is a respected finance leader who combines strong reporting and accounting expertise with the ability to lead people, influence stakeholders and drive organisational improvement. They are comfortable operating across complex finance environments, balancing governance and control with business value creation.
