What You Will Do *
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis VMC machining operations using CAM application Mastercam and UG NX.
- Plan and support machining processes including milling,
drilling, grooving, tapping, threading, and waterjet cutting.
- Provide tool design and tooling support for manufacturing.
- Prepare, review, and validate manufacturing process documentation (work instructions and SOPs).
- Develop and modify Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) structures and manage engineering changes.
- Receive and review Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM).
- Collaborate with shop-floor teams to support job setup, clamping, tooling selection, and process improvements.
- Use Siemens NX (UG NX) and Teamcenter to extract dimensional data and validate 3D CAD models.
- Select cutting tools using machining parameters based on materials and aerospace manufacturing standards.
- Support tooling, jigs, fixtures, and tool-holding design activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; to ensure manufacturing accuracy.
