Role Objective: Achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory by executing sales initiatives and plans, ensuring business growth and customer retention
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management
- Analyse sales data across products, services, and customers using available dashboards
- Leverage digital tools and collaborate with the Regional Business Manager to integrate insights into sales planning
- Create and regularly update standard visit list of relevant health care professionals and potential chemists, monthly tour and plan and coverage plan
- Interact with health care professionals and patient education as per approved frequency and execute effective delivery of communication and messages to the clinic
- Achieve and exceed assigned targets and undertake corrective actions to bridge any gaps
- Follow up with health care professionals and chemists consistently after Continuous Medical Educations and conferences
- Ensure retention of health care professionals and conversion of non-core health care professionals to core health care professionals
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by tracking sales data
- Support line managers with relevant information in joint calls and review meetings
- Submit reports and adhere to the compliance requirement
- Conduct delivery and demonstration of insulin devices
- Participate in cycle meetings, national diabetes educator programs, and skill development programs
Supply Chain Management
- Conduct retail chemist prescription audit and update necessary records
- Coordinate with stockists to maintain optimal inventory levels and manage near-expiry product liquidation efficiently
- Ensure availability of cold chain supply chain and escalate deviations (if any) in a timely manner when required
People and Culture
- Demonstrate Credo values to build trust and credibility with healthcare professionals
- Participate in Learning and Development programmes
STAKEHOLDER INTERACTION
Type of Interaction: Internal
Interaction with: Regional Business Manager, Sales Manager, Product management team, Medical department
Nature of Interaction: Routine communication in connection with specified tasks and handling escalations from accounts. Communication requiring some level of diplomacy, coordination and synergy
Nature of Interaction: Detailed technical explanation of products to external customers, influencing the customer
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience and Relevant Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Diabetes Care and preferrable to have 2 years of experience
- Possess relevant functional and process knowledge, regulatory aspects and updated knowledge of advancements in their area of work. Must demonstrate solid interpersonal skills, empathy, be driven and self-motivated. Digital fluency and proficiency in using relevant tools is essential, along with a basic understanding of sales and marketing principles
