About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer (UI/UX & Full Stack) serves as a senior technical leader responsible for defining architecture, driving engineering excellence, and leading the development of modern, scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The role requires deep expertise in ReactJS, backend API development and integration, cloud-native architectures, and modern engineering practices.
The ideal candidate combines strong front-end engineering skills with backend development experience and a passion for building intuitive user experiences. Experience with blockchain technologies, particularly Cosmos SDK-based ecosystems, is highly desirable.
This role influences technical direction across multiple teams, drives architecture decisions, leads modernization initiatives, and mentors engineers across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems,



or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological workplace, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
