Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and coordination to ensure seamless migration of applications and data. The engineer works on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that leverage both private and public cloud platforms, aiming to support advanced business objectives and enhance operational performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous monitoring of migration progress are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of migration strategies to ensure minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.




- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align cloud migration activities with organizational goals.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and knowledge sharing to foster professional growth.

Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management within Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Experience in designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system performance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools that support database migration and management.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline database administration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
