Job Description: Vice President – Projects & Operations (25 MW Power Plant)

Reporting to: CEO / Managing Director
Experience: 20–30 years (including project execution and plant operations)

Job Overview:

The VP – Projects & Operations will be responsible for end-to-end execution of the 25 MW power plant project as well as overseeing its long-term operations. The role combines project management expertise with deep operational knowledge to ensure the plant is built on time and operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Project Phase:

- Lead the planning, budgeting, design review, procurement, and execution of the 25 MW power plant project.

- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

- Monitor project milestones, quality standards, and budget adherence.

- Ensure all statutory and environmental clearances are in place.





- Manage risk assessments and mitigation plans during the project phase.

- Oversee site mobilization, construction, erection, and commissioning activities.

Operational Phase:

- Take charge of plant operations post-commissioning with a focus on availability, reliability, and safety.

- Implement SOPs for plant operation, preventive & predictive maintenance.

- Drive continuous improvement in generation efficiency and cost optimization.

- Ensure compliance with all government regulations, safety norms, and environmental laws.

- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team for operations and maintenance.

- Prepare operational reports and present performance reviews to senior management.

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).

- PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
