Job DescriptionJob Title: Visiting Faculty – Behavioural Economics and Decision Making Location: Pune (On-campus – Abasaheb Garware College) Job Type: Visiting / Part time Program: B.Sc. Data Science (Second Year – Undergraduate Students) Course Duration: 30 Hours (Across One Semester) About the Role The School of Data Science & Business Intelligence (SDBI) is seeking a Visiting Faculty member to teach Behavioural Economics and Decision Making to second-year undergraduate students in the B.Sc. Data Science program. The ideal faculty member should possess strong industry or research experience and be able to make behavioural concepts engaging through case studies, experiments, discussions, and practical applications relevant to modern organizations. Key Responsibilities Deliver 30 hours of engaging classroom instruction during the semester. Explain fundamental concepts of behavioural economics and decision science using practical examples. Conduct classroom activities, behavioural experiments, simulations, and case-based discussions.



Connect behavioural theories with real-world business, consumer, financial, and policy decisions. Design assignments, quizzes, and group activities that promote analytical and critical thinking. Encourage students to evaluate decision-making using evidence rather than intuition alone. Support internal assessments and provide constructive academic feedback. Coordinate with the academic team to ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
