Job TitleTeam Lead – Primary Years | Cambridge Pathway

The Team Lead – Primary Years will provide academic and pedagogical leadership to the Primary Years team, ensuring the effective implementation of the Cambridge Primary curriculum and a consistent, high-quality learning experience across the phase.
The role involves supporting teachers in curriculum planning, assessment, classroom practice, career development, and student progress while fostering a collaborative and reflective team culture. The Team Lead will work closely with the school leadership to translate the school's vision and Cambridge framework into meaningful learning experiences for students.

Qualifications & ExperienceEssential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Primary Education, or a relevant subject area.
- B.Ed. or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of successful Primary teaching experience, preferably within a Cambridge or international school.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and primary pedagogy.




- Strong understanding of the Cambridge Primary curriculum and assessment framework.
- Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or supporting other teachers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Desirable
- Experience in a Cambridge Pathway school across multiple Primary year groups.
- Cambridge Professional Development Qualification (PDQ) or relevant Cambridge training.
- Previous experience as a Year Lead, Subject Lead, Key Stage Lead, Primary Coordinator, or similar academic leadership role.
- Experience with curriculum development, school improvement, or accreditation processes.
- Experience working with diverse, multicultural learner communities.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and technology-enhanced pedagogy.
