Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead – Content & Social Media to own and grow The Gen
Academy’s content and social presence.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands what makes outstanding content work — from
identifying the right topics and developing strong hooks to creating, distributing, and continually
improving content based on performance.
You’ll own our content strategy across platforms and help build The Gen Academy into a
recognizable brand in the AI and technology education space.

What You'll Own

Content Strategy
Develop and own our overall content and social media strategy.
Build content pillars, editorial calendars, campaigns, and platform-specific strategies.
Identify interesting stories,



ideas and trends across AI, technology and education.
Turn workshops, courses, instructor insights and community conversations into
compelling content.
Develop repeatable content formats and series that can help grow the brand.

Social Media & Growth
Own The Gen Academy's presence across channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram,
YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Understand platform-native content, trends, formats and distribution.
Experiment continuously with topics, hooks, formats and creative approaches.
Grow our audience, engagement and organic reach.
Build a strong and consistent voice for the brand.

Content Creation
Write strong social copy, posts, scripts, captions and educational content.
Create or coordinate short-form videos, carousels, graphics, clips and other social assets.
Repurpose long-form content, workshops and videos into multiple pieces of platform-native content.
