Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying current business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for StockPrompt.ai’s AI-driven investment products and services. Day-to-day activities include conducting market and competitor research, developing and executing outreach strategies, preparing and delivering client presentations and demos, and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to refine value propositions, gather feedback from clients, and ensure smooth onboarding and account management. The role also involves negotiating commercial terms, tracking performance against targets, and reporting on business development metrics and insights to leadership.

Qualifications
Strong skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, with a focus on B2B or financial technology solutions.




Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends in capital markets, and identify high-potential customer segments.
Proficiency in presenting complex technical or financial concepts clearly, including preparing proposals, pitch decks, and demos.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering) to refine offerings and address client needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-centric and data-driven approach.
Prior experience in fintech, financial services, stock markets, or SaaS business development is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications in finance/fintech are a plus.
