Role Description The seaman role is a full time, on-site position based in Nagercoil. The seaman will assist with day-to-day vessel operations, including deck work, mooring, anchoring, and general upkeep of the boat. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and basic repair tasks, handling ropes and equipment, and supporting safe navigation and sailing activities under the direction of senior crew members. The role also involves following all safety protocols, participating in drills, keeping work areas clean and organized,



and cooperating with other crew members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Navigation and Maritime operations to support safe vessel movement and compliance with marine regulations.
Candidates should possess skills related to Boat handling and Sailing to assist in day-to-day vessel maneuvering and deck activities.
Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair to perform routine checks, basic repairs, and upkeep of equipment and vessel structures.
Basic knowledge of maritime safety procedures and emergency response practices.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including extended periods at sea and variable weather.
Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to follow instructions from senior crew and officers.
Relevant maritime certifications or training courses are an advantage.
