Lead Product UX Designer – Healthcare
Work Model: Remote – Core hours 12 PM to 8 PM IST

About the Role
As a Lead Healthcare Experience Designer at Hyland, you'll significantly shape our healthcare portfolio spanning back office, payer, clinical, enterprise imaging, and radiology. You'll thrive in complex environments, proactively identify opportunities for greater product cohesion, and take initiative to build patterns and systems that scale across teams and products. You'll partner with a sharp, cooperative group of designers, product managers, and engineers who are creative, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about their craft.
This is a remote-first role with occasional in-office days as needed for candidates based in or near Hyderabad or Kolkata. Some travel to the US or Europe may be required.

Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do
Partner with senior leaders to shape platform direction, prioritize work, and align design decisions around short- and long-term outcomes.
Lead product discovery alongside cross-functional stakeholders, identifying gaps in understanding,



strategizing activities to build clarity, and driving consensus.
Design scalable systems — creating patterns, workflows, and interaction models that hold up across teams, products, roles, and edge cases.
Drive accessibility as a first-class requirement, ensuring experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards by partnering with accessibility experts and engineering teams.
Provide annotated design specifications and documentation that detail interaction behaviors and acceptance criteria, enabling efficient and accurate developer implementation.
Lead critiques, mentor and coach team members, and model inclusive, constructive collaboration — helping teams deliver high-quality, consistent, and easy-to-use experiences through shared best practices.
