Role Description The Epicor ERP Techno-Functional Consultant Finance will support and optimize Epicor ERP implementations for the finance function at Thomsun Group. This on-site role, based in Kerala, India, involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements from finance stakeholders, and translating them into Epicor configurations and customizations. The consultant will manage finance-related modules, perform system setup, create and maintain reports and dashboards, and ensure data integrity across financial workflows. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting user issues, coordinating with IT and finance teams, conducting testing, and supporting upgrades and enhancements. The role also requires preparing documentation, training end users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and system performance.
Qualifications
Solid Epicor ERP techno-functional expertise in finance modules, including configuration, customization, and integration.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes such as GL, AP, AR,



fixed assets, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating functional needs into technical solutions.
Proficiency in SQL queries, report development, and data analysis for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Ability to conduct system and user acceptance testing, create documentation, and deliver user training and support.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for working with finance, IT, and operations teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Prior experience as an ERP consultant or internal ERP specialist, preferably with Epicor in a multi-company or multi-industry environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and readiness to work on-site in Kerala, India.
