A core part of how we de-risk every project is proving it in software first. We build a full digital twin of a cell or line and virtually commission it end to end — before a single machine is bought or bolted down. That's where this role lives.
The Role
We're looking for a Robotics Simulation Engineer to own the digital twin and offline programming (OLP) work that lets us prove throughput, reach and cycle time before we build. You'll model robots, tooling, PLC logic, safety and material flow together, surface problems in software instead of on a customer's floor, and hand off validated, production-ready programs to our build and commissioning teams.
What You'll Do
Build full digital twins of robotic cells and lines — robots, fixtures,



positioners, sensors and conveyors modelled and tested together.
Generate and optimise robot paths offline (OLP), eliminating teach-pendant downtime on live lines.
Run reachability and collision analysis across the robot, tooling, fixtures and AUT-series positioners to prove every point is reachable and collision-free.
Simulate line and material flow to expose bottlenecks and prove throughput and cycle time before capital is committed.
Support virtual commissioning — test PLC, safety and sensor logic against the twin (hardware- and software-in-the-loop).
Validate welding and other processes in simulation (distortion, multi-pass, seam tracking) to pre-compensate for first-time quality.
Produce simulated cycle-time, throughput and ROI reports for customer parts.
Build operator-training and VR scenarios on the twin so teams are productive before the physical cell arrives.
