Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical)
Reports to: CFD Engineer
Function: Aerodynamic analysis and simulation

Role Purpose:




Support aerodynamic analysis of aircraft geometry through CFD simulation, contributing to design refinement and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare CAD geometry for simulation (clean-up, meshing) under guidance.
Set up and run CFD cases for aerodynamic evaluation of aircraft and component geometry.
Post-process results — pressure, lift/drag, flow behaviour — and summarise findings.
Support studies comparing design variants and configurations.
Document simulation set-up, assumptions and results clearly for review.
Feed aerodynamic findings back to the design team.

Skills & Attributes:
Fundamentals of fluid mechanics and aerodynamics.
Exposure to CFD tools (ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar) and meshing.
Comfortable interpreting results critically and documenting them accurately.
