Pawnsposes is a fast growing chess coaching and technology company with 1,000+ students across 15+ countries, combining expert coaching with AI-powered chess training.
We are looking for a Video Editor & Content Creator who can make our chess content impossible to scroll past.
What you'll do
Turn our chess lesson recordings into engaging, entertaining and highly watchable videos.
Edit chess entertainment, educational and social media content designed to maximize watch time, retention and shares.
Create animations, motion graphics, dynamic captions, effects and visual storytelling that make chess easy and exciting to watch.
Find the best moments from long recordings and turn them into high-performing short-form content.
Work closely with our team to develop new viral content formats and ideas.
Take responsibility for posting content every day across Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
Track content performance and improve future videos based on retention and engagement.




Help build Pawnsposes' visual identity and become an significant part of our content team.
We want someone who
Understands viral short-form content, hooks, pacing and audience retention.
Has strong video editing + animation/motion graphics skills.
Can make even a normal chess lesson entertaining.
Is creative enough to suggest ideas, not just execute instructions.
Takes ownership and can work independently while being a strong team player.
Is comfortable with daily deadlines and consistent content output.
Has experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci, CapCut or similar tools.
Chess knowledge is a plus, not a requirement.
