The Role
We are looking for someone who is genuinely experienced in AutoCAD and EPLAN both. You will work alongside our Electrical & Instrumentation team on Panels & Layouts and Design to work for Engineering Clients abroad.
Key Responsibilities
Produce Panels and Switchgear Schematics - Power and Control Circuits, Terminal details and Interconnection Drawings.
Build and maintain EPLAN Electric Projects - Device Tagging, Cross References and Automatically generated Bills of Material (BOM).
Layout Enclosures in EPLAN Pro Panel - 3D Mounting Plates, Component Placement, Clearances and Wire Routing.
AutoCAD Drawing Sets - Panel & Junction Box GA Drawings and Plant Layouts.
Design to IEC 60204-1 / 60439, UL 508A and NFPA 79 as each Project demands and keep drawing sets revision clean.
Coordinate with Project Engineers and Overseas Clients on Drawing reviews and As-built updates.
Software and Tools
EPLAN Electric - Schematics, Reports and Device Management.
EPLAN Pro Panel - 3D Panel Layout and Routing.
AutoCAD Electrical - 2D Layouts (Cable Tray Routing Layout, Grounding/Earthing Layout, Lighting Layout, Instruments & Junction Box Location Layout, etc.).
Navisworks - 3D Model Review and find Clashes.
MS Excel - BOM Handling and Drawing Control.
Qualification
Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation - Any of these is fine, provided the EPLAN and AutoCAD work behind it is real and you can walk us through it.
1-5 Years of hands-on Electrical Design Experience, with genuine day-to-day use of both EPLAN and AutoCAD.
Working knowledge of Panel Drawings & Various Layouts: Panel Component Selection, Protection Co-ordination, Wire Sizing and Various Electrical & Instrumentation Layouts.
Transparent written English and the confidence to raise a drawing-related question.
