Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Aeronautical / Aerospace / Mechanical)
Reports to: Design Lead
Function: Aircraft and component design (CAD)

Role Purpose:
Support the design of aircraft components and tooling for both the contract manufacturing programme and Othrys’ own aircraft development,



using CAD and following aerospace design practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Produce and update 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for aircraft parts, assemblies and tooling.
Assist in the design of composite components, layup definitions and moulds/fixtures.
Prepare drawing packs with correct dimensions, tolerances, materials and ply schedules.
Support design iterations based on analysis, manufacturing feedback and design reviews.
Maintain version control and organised records of drawings and design data.
Assist in translating customer (e.g. kit) drawings and revisions into internal manufacturing documentation.
Contribute to design documentation and basic engineering calculations under supervision.

Skills & Attributes:
Proficiency in a CAD package (SolidWorks / CATIA / Fusion 360 or similar).
Understanding of engineering drawing standards and GD&T; fundamentals.
Interest in composites and aircraft structures; willingness
