IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer
Experience
6+ years in integration development, preferably with solid hands-on experience in IIB/ACE.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using IBM IIB / ACE.
Develop message flows using:
Compute
Mapping
Filter
Route
MQ
HTTP/REST
SOAP
File
Database
Timer/Scheduler nodes
Develop integrations using ESQL, Java, and message mapping.
Work with IBM MQ for synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
Develop REST and SOAP APIs and integrate with external/internal applications.
Handle various message formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-length.
Implement message transformation, routing, enrichment, validation, and exception handling.
Design reusable and configurable integration components.
Implement error handling using TryCatch, Failure terminals, exception handling, and MQ-based error queues.
Configure and manage MQ queues, topics, channels,



and security.
Develop database integrations using SQL and JDBC.
Implement logging, monitoring, auditing, and operational support mechanisms.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Optimize message flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in deployment activities across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD and automated deployments.
Prepare technical documentation including solution design, interface specifications, mapping documents, and deployment documents.
