Position Overview
The Assistant General Manager – Finance & Accounts is a Group-level position responsible, first and foremost, for the integrity and timeliness of statutory compliance across all entities of the Group. The role also carries oversight of institutional Finance & Accounts functions at each entity, ensuring consistent processes, sound controls and reliable reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group and institutional leadership, and Finance teams, and will be expected to bring order, discipline and a compliance-first mindset to a multi-entity structure spanning Schools, Colleges and allied companies.

Key Responsibilities





Statutory Compliance (Primary Responsibility)
Own end-to-end statutory compliance across all Group entities, including GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, Provident Fund, ESI, Skilled Tax and other applicable labour and tax filings.
Maintain a Group-wide compliance calendar, tracking due dates, filing status and responsible owners across entities, and escalating risks well ahead of deadlines.
Ensure timely filings under the Companies Act (for Group companies) and under applicable Societies Registration Act and regulations (for Societies and other entities), including annual returns, ROC filings and audit-related submissions.
Coordinate statutory, tax and internal audits across entities, ensuring audit queries are resolved promptly, and audit findings are tracked to closure.
Liaise directly with auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries and regulatory authorities on behalf of the Group.
