Reporting To: Director- Corporate Relations & Placement
Location: University Campus

1. Job Purpose
To lead and coordinate university-wide placement activities, strengthen corporate relationships, enhance student
employability and facilitate quality placement opportunities through effective industry engagement, training,
recruitment drives, and placement operations.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Placement Management
 Develop and implement the annual placement strategy and calendar.
 Coordinate campus recruitment drives across colleges/departments.
 Coordinate pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews, group discussions and selection processes.
 Ensure smooth coordination between students, recruiters, faculty coordinators and placement teams.

B. Corporate & Industry Relations
 Develop and maintain robust relationships with companies, MNCs, PSUs, startups and others.
 Identify and onboard new recruiters across diverse sectors.




 Invite companies for campus recruitment and negotiate placement requirements.
 Build a database of prospective recruiters and industry contacts.

C. Student Employability & Career Development
 Identify employability gaps among students and coordinate skill-development initiatives.
 Organise training programmes on aptitude, communication, soft skills, technical skills, group discussions,
interview skills and professional etiquette.
 Conduct career counselling and awareness sessions.
 Promote industry certifications and career-oriented programmes.

D. Placement Operations
 Coordinate with Deans/Principal/Heads/Placement Coordinators of various colleges for placement readiness.
 Ensure student registration, eligibility verification and participation in recruitment drives.
 Coordinate interview schedules, venues, logistics and recruiter requirements.
 Ensure timely communication of placement opportunities to eligible students.
