Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for export apparel orders.
Coordinate with international buyers regarding order details, product development, approvals, and shipment schedules.
Prepare and maintain Time and Action (T&A;) calendars for all orders.
Coordinate with sourcing and purchase teams for fabric and trims procurement.
Follow up on sample development, approvals, and bulk production status.
Liaise with production, planning, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time execution of orders.
Monitor order progress and proactively address production or sourcing delays.
Ensure buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met.
Prepare costing sheets, consumption calculations, and order-related documentation.
Coordinate pre-production meetings and ensure smooth handover to production teams.
Manage shipment documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics teams.
Maintain regular communication with buyers and provide production updates.




Prepare merchandising MIS reports and order status reports for management.
Qualifications
Graduate in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Apparel Production, Merchandising, or related field.
NIFT or equivalent qualification will be preferred.
Experience
3 years of experience in export merchandising within the apparel industry.
Experience in handling export buyers and international markets is mandatory.
Experience in knit and/or woven garments will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes and export merchandising.
Experience in buyer communication and order management.
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.
Understanding of costing, consumption, and T&A; management.
Positive knowledge of export documentation and shipment procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
