We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with strong Calypso expertise to lead strategic initiatives within a global Capital Markets landscape. This is a leadership role requiring a hands-on technologist who can drive architecture, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality solutions across Front, Middle, and Back Office platforms.
? Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Calypso developers and technical specialists
Drive end-to-end delivery: enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and transformations
Provide architectural guidance for Calypso development and customization
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and tech teams
Ensure high standards in design, code quality, and development practices
Manage project planning, timelines, risks, and resource allocation
Support production stability and continuous improvements
Mentor and grow engineering talent
Collaborate with global teams across regions




Champion Agile delivery and contribute to long-term technology strategy
? Mandatory Skills
✅ 10+ years in Capital Markets technology with robust Calypso experience
✅ Expertise in Calypso architecture, workflows, business events, and integrations
✅ Strong Java development background
✅ Experience across FO/MO/BO, Risk, and Trade Processing
✅ Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Money Markets
✅ Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
✅ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Cloud technologies & up-to-date engineering practices
DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing
SQL, Oracle & performance tuning
Regulatory reporting & risk systems
Experience managing distributed global teams
