About Ummeed:

Ummeed, a premier non-profit organization working with children with disabilities and their families in India. The organization supports children with developmental disabilities to reach their maximum potential and be included in society.

India has over 50 million children with disabilities. With access to appropriate health, intervention, education, recreation, and livelihood services they can be supported to become participative members of society. Today most of them have limited or no access to relevant knowledge and services as the number of organizations and professionals in the space are inadequate to meet the need.

Over the past 25 years, Ummeed has provided direct clinical services to 16,400+ children and families, trained over 14,600 unique professionals (community workers, doctors, therapists, and teachers) across India, and influenced the lives of over 0.73 million children and families with or at risk of developmental disabilities. In addition to direct clinical services, training, and capacity building,



Ummeed’s conducts research in the field of child development, and builds awareness to sensitize people to the cause and shift attitudes towards disability and inclusion. As Ummeed looks to the future, its goal is to build on this past work to drive strategic shifts across three key ecosystems – Healthcare, Schools, and Early Childhood Development – to create a more inclusive society for children with and at high likelihood of disabilities in India.

About the Position:
The Finance team at Ummeed is responsible for Accounting, Taxation, Banking, Compliance, Budgets, MIS and Risk Assessment. The team is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to undertake aspects of regulatory & financial reporting, tax & compliance, budget & forecasts.
Individuals who are keen to explore growing into a future role in the areas of compliance, legal & secretarial, and support the existing senior personnel in this department may also apply.
