Role Description The Head, Merchant Banking (IPOs) is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving SintraCap’s IPO and equity capital markets franchise. This position oversees origination and execution of IPO mandates, including deal structuring, valuation analysis, regulatory documentation, and coordination with issuers, regulators, stock exchanges, legal advisers, and other intermediaries. The role involves leading pitch development,



managing client relationships, supervising due diligence, and ensuring high-quality delivery of prospectuses and offer documents. The Head will manage and mentor the merchant banking team, set performance goals, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk and compliance standards. The role also includes monitoring market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the firm’s overall strategic direction in capital markets.

Qualifications
Strong merchant banking and capital markets expertise, with substantial experience leading IPO and equity issuance transactions end-to-end.
Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and transaction structuring, including building and reviewing financial models and deal terms.
In-depth knowledge of Indian securities regulations, SEBI guidelines, listing requirements, and IPO documentation and
