Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Kanpur. The Mechanical Engineer will design and optimize machinery and tooling used in PU sole manufacturing, focusing on efficiency, safety, and product quality.



Daily responsibilities include creating and reviewing CAD models, performing design calculations, supporting installation and commissioning of equipment, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves participating in research and development initiatives to improve processes, reduce defects, and enable current sole designs and materials. The Mechanical Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, collaborate with vendors and external partners, and contribute to continuous improvement and cost-optimization projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to manufacturing equipment and processes.
Demonstrated skills in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for industrial machinery and tooling.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitor
