Role Description The Articled Assistant will support the firm’s tax, audit, and compliance teams in an internship capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with income tax and GST return preparation, supporting statutory and internal audits, helping with documentation and filings under company law, and maintaining accurate working papers and records.



The role also involves conducting basic research on regulatory updates, preparing summaries for senior team members, and helping draft client communications and reports. This is an on-site internship role based in Chandigarh, India, offering hands-on exposure to professional practice and client-facing work under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (Income Tax, GST), and auditing concepts.
Ability to understand and work with company law and corporate compliance requirements, including documentation and regulatory filings.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; comfort with accounting or tax software is an advantage.
Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in working papers.
