Safety & Security Officer

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Fire & Safety, Disaster Management, Law, Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Relevant diplomas and certifications in Fire Safety, First Aid, Emergency Response, or Occupational Safety will be an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in safety, security, emergency management, loss prevention, or institutional/corporate security operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall campus safety, security, and emergency preparedness.
Supervise security personnel, shifts, access control, and security agencies.
Monitor CCTV, alarms, visitor management, and other security systems.
Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, and emergency drills.
Ensure fire & life safety, emergency response, evacuation, and disaster preparedness.
Investigate incidents, accidents,



security breaches, and prepare reports.
Coordinate with police, fire services, hospitals, government authorities, and external agencies.
Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance related to safety and security.
Develop safety awareness and training programs for students, faculty, and staff.
Support security arrangements for events, hostels, VIP visits, and large gatherings.
Prepare MIS reports, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
