Role Description The Consultant General Surgeon is a full time,



on-site role based in Dehradun at KANISHK Surgical and Super Specialty Hospital. The role involves performing elective and emergency general surgical procedures, including preoperative assessment, operative management, and postoperative care. Responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics, admitting patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and NABH standards. The Consultant General Surgeon will participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and morbidity and mortality meetings, and contribute to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. The role also includes teaching and mentoring junior doctors and supporting seminars and live surgery workshops organized by the hospital.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to manage preoperative and postoperative medical conditions.
