Hiring: Freelance 3D Generalist ?

Servayam seeks a creative and talented 3D Generalist for our remote team working on freelance/project-based animation projects.

This would be someone who is able to bring scripts, storyboards, and references to life through fast, engaging, visually interesting 3D animations—in an entertaining and expressive style akin to that of Zack D Films, in which storytelling, timing, humour and visuals blend together to make things easy to understand and entertaining.

What you’ll work on

• Environment, props, and stylized character creation
• Character animation, facial expressions and lip sync
• Camera movements, composition, lighting, material and rendering
• Dynamic camera shots and sequences
• Working from references without losing consistency of style
• Scene optimization for efficient workflow
• Taking feedback and working on projects to deadline

The skillset we are looking for:

• Solid experience with Blender and/or Unreal Engine
• It’s even better if you have experience with both Blender and Unreal Engine




• A good knowledge of 3D animation, compositions, lighting, visual storytelling
• The ability to make clear and entertaining explanatory animations with good pacing and timing that is funny and engaging (inspired by Zack D Films)
• Experience with character animation and working process in 3D
• Good communication and timely deliveries
• A solid portfolio or showreel in 3D

It would be excellent if you had experience with Unreal Engine Sequencer, rigging, compositing, lip-sync, and short-form social media animation.
