Client/Role Overview
We are building a performance-focused footwear brand that combines material science, ergonomic design and biomechanics to create high-comfort, durable and India-specific performance footwear.
With a focus on data-driven product development, advanced sole structures, sustainable materials and local manufacturing, the company is positioned for robust domestic growth, export opportunities and long-term value creation.
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to join the founding team and help build the financial foundation for the company's next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in line with business and growth objectives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial planning and management reporting.
Own cash-flow planning and working capital management across manufacturing, procurement,



inventory, logistics and D2C operations.
Manage product costing, inventory valuation, landed cost calculations, margins and pricing analysis.
Oversee procurement payments, vendor financing and supplier-related financial processes.
Manage the finance and compliance aspects of import-export operations, including customs, duties, DGFT and related documentation.
Develop financial models and provide business insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Monitor P&L;, cost structures, profitability and key business metrics.
Establish internal controls, risk-management processes and cost-optimization initiatives.
Manage GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliance and other applicable financial regulations.
Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, banking relationships, audits and financial due diligence.
Partner with founders and business teams on commercial and financial decisions.
