Position Title: Associate Director (Compensation & Benefits, PMS)
Reports To: Partner
Location: Mumbai (Dadar)
Experience: 8-15 years of experience in Performance Management and Compensation Benefits in a professional services firm or similar.

About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Performance and Compensation Management (Associate Director level) to lead this area for Senior Leadership at BDO India.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain performance appraisal processes, goal-setting methodologies, and continuous feedback systems
Analyse performance metrics, data trends and report findings to senior leadership
Collaborate with department heads to draft action plans for underperformance and support succession planning
Build compensation strategy aligned with BDO India’s business goals, culture, and growth ambitions
Partner closely with leadership, Finance, and other stakeholders
Manage the annual compensation planning cycle – including merit increases, bonuses, and promotions
Institutionalize a structured,



scalable, and inclusive Performance Management system
Develop incentive plans (short-term and long-term) aligned with business outcomes
Identify, evaluate, and implement compensation management tools/systems

Key Requirements:
8 -15 years of experience in Performance Management and Compensation Benefits; experience in a professional services or consulting firm is preferred.
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations.
Strategic thinking with a strong grasp of business drivers and talent dynamics.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, evolving setting with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong ability to build financial models, manipulate large datasets, and translate metrics into actionable reward strategies.
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet analysis.
