We’re building an app focused on peer support and are looking for motivated interns to join us for a 2-month virtual internship.
What you’ll do:
Research existing peer-support apps, communities, and models
Study user needs, engagement, and community dynamics
Conduct/assist with user interviews, surveys, and qualitative research
Analyze findings and turn them into actionable product insights
Help us understand best practices around community safety and moderation
Prepare research summaries and presentations
2. Peer Support Session Moderator
You’ll help us conduct and moderate virtual peer-support sessions within our app.
What you’ll do:
Help facilitate virtual peer-support sessions
Create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive setting
Encourage constructive participation and active listening
Follow community guidelines and moderation protocols
Identify situations that require escalation to a supervisor
Collect feedback and insights from sessions
Help us improve the peer-support experience
Who we’re looking for:
Students or recent graduates from any relevant background
Strong communication and listening skills
Empathetic, responsible, and non-judgmental
Interested in mental health, communities, social impact, research, or technology
Comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
For the research role: strong research and analytical skills
For the moderator role: strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
This is an opportunity to work closely with an early-stage app, contribute to a meaningful product, and gain hands-on experience in peer support, user research, community building, and product development.
