About The Role

Autoliv is looking for an experienced Launch Project Quality Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. This role will be a key member of the AS100/Recent Projects Cross Functional Team (CFT), ensuring product and manufacturing process quality from project initiation through successful launch and handover to production.

As a Launch Project Quality Engineer, you will represent the voice of the customer and the manufacturing process within new product development projects. You will be responsible for ensuring quality requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle, driving proactive quality actions, and supporting a seamless transition to serial production.





Key Responsibilities

Participate actively in AS100 Project CFT activities from TG0 through TG4.
Represent plant quality requirements and concerns throughout project execution.
Participate in Design Reviews (DR1, DR2, DR3) according to AS130.
Ensure alignment between DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Critical Characteristics (CC/SC), and engineering drawings.
Develop and maintain prototype, pre-production, and production control plans.
Cascade customer-specific quality requirements to manufacturing operations.
Ensure prototype and production parts comply with approved specifications.
Support customer APQP activities and PPAP preparation/submissions.
Lead and facilitate problem-solving activities using 8D methodology.
Manage Manufacturing Release Process (AS403).
Review and approve PPAP documentation from internal suppliers.
Support PFMEA Go, See & Fix activities according to AS106.
Ensure compliance with Trace
