Position Summary We are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to join a growing R&D; team in Hyderabad supporting sustaining engineering, VAVE, and lifecycle management for the KingFisher sample preparation systems and Detection instruments .



In this role, you will act as a technical lead for system and subsystem initiatives , driving cross-functional problem solving, supporting system architecture, and ensuring product performance, reliability, and cost competitiveness. You will play a key role in executing sustaining and VAVE programs , while contributing to the development of local capabilities that will expand into future product development ownership . Key Responsibilities Systems Engineering & Technical Leadership Act as a technical lead for system or subsystem initiatives , working across hardware, software, firmware, and consumables. Contribute to system architecture, requirements definition, and interface specifications . Lead root cause investigations and structured problem solving for complex technical issues.
