About the Role
We are looking for a YouTube Growth Strategist who can help us grow our YouTube channels and reach more students preparing for competitive and government examinations.
The person will be responsible for planning content, improving video and shorts performance, analysing YouTube data and identifying opportunities for channel growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute YouTube growth strategies.
Plan and maintain the YouTube content calendar.
Research trending topics, student interests and competitor content.
Suggest video topics, titles and content ideas based on audience demand.
Optimise titles, descriptions, tags, keywords and thumbnails.
Analyse YouTube Studio metrics such as CTR, watch time, retention, views subscribers etc
Identify why videos and shorts are performing well or poorly and suggest improvements.
Work with the content, faculty, design and video-editing teams to improve video performance.
Identify opportunities to convert long-form videos into Shorts and other content formats.
Monitor competitor channels and YouTube trends in the EdTech/competitive-exam space.
Track channel growth and prepare weekly performance reports.
Experiment with different content formats, topics, thumbnails and titles to improve reach and engagement.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in YouTube growth, content strategy or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of YouTube Analytics and YouTube Studio.
Good knowledge of YouTube SEO, CTR, retention and watch-time optimisation.
Understanding of thumbnails, titles and content packaging.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Positive understanding of the Indian YouTube/EdTech audience.
Ability to identify content opportunities and convert them into actionable ideas.
