About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong hands-on experience in GST, E-Way Bills, B2C sales reconciliation, invoicing and day-to-day accounting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling sales across multiple channels, ensuring GST compliance and supporting the finance team with monthly closing and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesGST & Tax Compliance
Handle day-to-day GST accounting and compliance.
Prepare and reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other GST-related reports.
Reconcile books with GSTR-2B and identify discrepancies.
Verify GST applicability, tax rates, HSN/SAC codes and input tax credit.
Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for GST filings and queries.
Track and resolve GST mismatches, credit notes and debit notes.
E-Way Bill & Invoicing
Generate and manage E-Way Bills for applicable shipments.
Verify invoice details, GSTIN,
HSN, taxable value and transportation details.
Ensure proper documentation for movement of goods.
Track cancelled, expired or incorrect E-Way Bills and take corrective action.
Maintain proper records of sales invoices, purchase invoices, debit/credit notes and delivery documents.
B2C Sales Reconciliation
Perform daily/weekly/monthly B2C sales reconciliation.
Reconcile sales between Shopify, marketplaces, Q-Commerce platforms, payment gateways and accounting software.
Reconcile gross sales, discounts, returns, cancellations, GST, shipping charges, commissions and net settlements.
Identify differences between orders, invoices, platform reports and bank settlements.
Maintain channel-wise reconciliation and outstanding discrepancy reports.
Track returns, refunds and RTO transactions.
Accounting & MIS
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP/accounting software.
Bank reconciliation and paym
