Role Description The Chief Dietitian is a full-time, on-site role based at Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital in Thiruvalla taluk. This role involves leading the dietetics department,



overseeing the development and implementation of evidence-based nutritional care plans for inpatients and outpatients, and ensuring alignment with medical teams across specialties. The Chief Dietitian will supervise and mentor dietitians and nutrition staff, coordinate clinical nutrition services, and contribute to hospital policies and protocols related to medical nutrition therapy. Daily responsibilities include patient assessment, nutritional counseling, documentation of care, participation in multidisciplinary rounds, and quality assurance activities. The role may also involve conducting nutrition education programs for patients, families, and staff, and supporting research or academic initiatives within the medical college.
