Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Import Documentation Executive to manage and coordinate import documentation and shipment-related activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of import procedures, freight forwarding documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, clients, overseas agents, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end import documentation for air and sea shipments.
Prepare, verify, and process import-related documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Order, and other shipment documents.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, transporters, and clients.
Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
Ensure all documents are accurate and completed within the required timelines.
Handle documentation amendments and resolve discrepancies or documentation-related issues.
Coordinate for customs clearance and delivery-related documentation.




Maintain proper records of shipment documents and update internal systems.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable import regulations.
Coordinate with the operations and accounts teams for smooth execution of shipments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Import Documentation.
Experience in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry is mandatory.
Good knowledge of Air Import and Sea Import documentation.
Familiarity with shipping terms, Incoterms, BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
