About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to join our Premium Study Abroad team in Chennai.
The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, understanding their study-abroad aspirations, and guiding them towards the right international education opportunities while driving admissions and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents on international education programs, universities, courses, and destinations.
Understand student profiles, career goals, academic background, and financial considerations to provide personalized guidance.
Manage leads through the complete sales funnel, from initial counselling to conversion and enrolment.
Drive conversions through consultative selling, effective follow-ups, and robust objection handling.




Handle premium/high-value student profiles while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission and revenue targets.
Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the decision-making journey.
Maintain accurate lead and activity records in the CRM.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth application and enrolment journey.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience.
Requirements
2–6 years of relevant experience in Study Abroad, Overseas Education, EdTech, or consultative sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales/admission targets.
Strong knowledge of international education and study-abroad counselling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counselling, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
