Title: Senior SAS & Oracle Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAS & Oracle Developer
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAS development and Oracle database technologies, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in both SAS and Oracle. Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other large enterprise environments will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance and maintain SAS programs and applications.
Develop and maintain Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.
Write and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and packages.
Perform data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL).
Develop and maintain data integration and data processing solutions.
Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging and performance optimisation.
Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
Support data migration and data quality initiatives.




Develop technical documentation and maintain development standards.
Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts and other technology teams.
Ensure solutions comply with enterprise development and governance standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and the software development lifecycle.

Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years' hands-on SAS development experience.
Minimum 5 years' hands-on Oracle experience.
Strong SAS programming experience.
Solid SQL experience.
Strong Oracle SQL / PL/SQL experience.
Experience with stored procedures, functions, packages and database objects.
Experience with ETL and data integration.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
Ability to work independently in a senior technical capacity.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
