Key Areas

Preparing, negotiating, and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
Preparing and reviewing tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, progress claims, and payment certificates
Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as project managers, engineers, and consultants
Handling monthly progress bills from measuring the work through receipt of payment




Advising on a range of legal, contractual, and sensitive issues
Ensuring that all operations are carried out to control costs, maximize value, minimize future liabilities, and maintain the required standard of quality
Providing reports on actual costs vs. estimates, identifying the underlying reasons for any variance, and highlighting, challenging, and resolving variances against the latest plans
Providing general forecasting and estimating, and performing budgetary controls.

Key Requirements (Qualifications & Skills)

B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant field.
Experience in MEP construction is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of cost control activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
The selected candidate will be required to work at our project site in the Maldives.
