As we scale our products, users, transactions and engineering systems, we are looking for a Tech Lead who can combine strong hands-on engineering skills with technical leadership and people management.

About the Role
We are looking for a Tech Lead who can lead a team of engineers while remaining deeply hands-on with architecture, coding and technical problem-solving.
You will own the engineering execution for a product or technology area, work closely with Product and other stakeholders, and ensure that the team builds systems that are scalable, reliable, maintainable and business-focused.
This is a player-coach role — you will continue to write code and make critical technical decisions while managing and mentoring a team of engineers.





What You Will Do
1. Technical Leadership
Own the technical direction and engineering execution for a product/technology area.
Design and review scalable backend systems, APIs, services and data flows.
Make pragmatic architecture and technology decisions balancing speed, scale and maintainability.
Identify and solve complex technical problems across performance, reliability, scalability and system design.
Establish robust engineering practices around code quality, testing, observability and documentation.
Participate actively in design reviews and critical code reviews.
2. Hands-on Engineering
Remain hands-on with coding and contribute to critical parts of the system.
Build and evolve high-scale backend services and APIs.
Debug production issues and drive root-cause analysis for complex problems.
Work on performance optimisation, reliability and system scalability.
Strong experience in Golang or Py
