We are looking for a strong Tech Lead who can lead a development team while remaining hands-on with technology.
The role will be responsible for the engineering and technology delivery of the Investor Portal and a portfolio of internal digital automations across various business functions.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable leading people, solving complex technical problems, writing production-grade code, improving engineering productivity using AI, and taking ownership of application security and stability.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Angular and Python, along with a good understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, security, CI/CD and up-to-date software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
Lead and mentor the development team responsible for the Investor Portal and internal automation initiatives.
Own the technical delivery of multiple applications and initiatives from design through production.
Break business requirements into scalable technical solutions and actionable development tasks.
Conduct code reviews and establish high standards for code quality, maintainability and performance.
Build a culture of engineering ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
Coach developers and help them grow technically.
Identify capability gaps within the team and drive hiring, mentoring and upskilling.
Hands-on Development
Remain hands-on with development, particularly in Angular and Python.
Design and develop scalable frontend applications using Angular.
Build robust backend services, APIs and automation solutions using Python.
Work with REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, databases and third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root cause analysis.
Review and improve application architecture, performance and scalability.
