Job Description

The suitable candidate for this role is an Engineer specializing in Plant and Piping design for Water and Wastewater projects, with a strong focus on Digital Delivery. The role involves close coordination with design engineers and digital teams across India and New Zealand, supporting project delivery through high‑quality CAD and 3D modelling outputs.

The Engineer will take ownership of design, 3D modelling, drafting, and preparation of design documentation for water supply and wastewater (sewerage and drainage) infrastructure, including treatment plants, pump stations, and associated piping networks. The role supports projects across all stages, from concept and preliminary design through to detailed design and construction documentation.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Plant 3D piping designs and models, including layouts, profiles, long sections, and detailed drawings, while ensuring compliance with project standards, digital requirements, and specifications.



Experience in Revit 3D modelling and Civil 3D modelling will be an added advantage. The role focuses on delivering accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready design & CAD deliverables that meet client requirements and project expectations.

Responsibilities

Deliver Plant & Piping engineering design and CAD/BIM outputs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, recycled water schemes, dams, and desalination facilities, in line with WSP and client standards.
Prepare 2D and 3D deliverables using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, including GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, plot plans, sections, PFDs, P&IDs;, and construction‑ready drawings.
Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models, undertaking clash detection, coordination, issue resolution, reporting, and data management within the Common Data Setting (Autodesk Vault).
